Cellulose Acetate Butyrate (CAB)

Solindis offers two series of Celullose Acetate Butyrate (CAB). CAB is a biobased polymer used to enhance durability, flexibility, color retention, drying speed, and weather resistance of coatings and inks. Our CAB 381 and 551 series with different butyryl content are widely used in coatings for metal, wood, plastic, leather and textile. In printings inks and graphic arts our CAB series can contribute to improved adhesion, flexibility, clarity.
